Model 295 leans fully into classic ladder-style dive strap design, with a look that traces back to the 1970s. The squared ventilation cutouts and segmented surface give it an unmistakably vintage character, while the pronounced taper keeps the profile from feeling bulky on the wrist.
This is one of the more visually distinctive straps in the Bonetto range. The strong taper from lug to buckle adds refinement and balance, making Model 295 a good option for vintage divers and tool watches where you want period style without excess weight or thickness.

Model 295 is made from vulcanized nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), selected for its durability, flexibility, and resistance to seawater and sunlight. The vulcanization process strengthens the material while maintaining controlled flexibility, allowing the strap to bend naturally without feeling soft or unstable.
On the wrist, the ladder construction gives the strap a lighter, more breathable feel than solid dive straps. The segmented design reduces surface contact and helps the strap flex easily around the wrist, while the matte finish maintains a clean, understated appearance and resists lint and dust better than many silicone straps.

This strap features a noticeable taper, narrowing from 20mm at the lugs to 16mm at the buckle. This strong taper is a defining part of the design and contributes to the strap’s vintage proportions and lighter visual weight.
The ladder-style cutouts improve airflow and allow for flexible adjustment, making the strap comfortable for extended wear, especially in warm conditions. The slimmer buckle end keeps the strap from overwhelming smaller or mid-size cases.
Model 295 accommodates 2.5mm spring bars, so it's great for Seiko or other dive watches that take fat bars.

Water exposure: Waterproof, designed for prolonged water exposure including swimming and diving.
For routine care, rinse with lukewarm water and mild soap as needed. Rinse thoroughly to remove residue. Avoid solvents, petroleum-based cleaners, and abrasive materials, as these can damage the rubber. Dry with a soft cloth and allow the strap to air dry completely before wearing.
