The Hirsch Rainbow sits firmly in dress-strap territory. Its dense lizard-style embossing and subtle tonal variation stand out against polished steel or gold cases without overpowering the watch. The fine scale pattern gives the leather more visual interest than smooth calf while keeping the strap distinctly formal.
Material & feel
The strap is crafted from Italian calfskin embossed with a tight lizard-grain pattern. The raised scales are arranged in dense rows, creating natural tonal variation across the leather. The embossing adds structure to the strap while retaining the flexibility typical of calfskin.
The underside is lined with Hirsch Softglove leather, which is hypoallergenic and comfortable against the skin. The strap is fitted with a Hirsch-branded polished stainless steel buckle.

Splash resistant, suitable for light moisture such as hand washing or rain.
Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaning products, including leather cleaners. For heavier soiling, the strap may be briefly rinsed under running water. Avoid soaking or prolonged exposure to water. Dry with a soft cotton cloth or allow to air dry at room temperature. If the strap becomes damp from perspiration or heat, gently wipe with a dry, soft cloth.
