Large alligator-style scales and bold white contrast stitching give the Hirsch Modena a strong, sport-oriented presence. The embossed pattern adds structure beside brushed steel cases and larger watches, where the texture balances flat dials and prominent bezels. It works particularly well with chronographs and modern sports watches featuring applied markers or bold minute tracks.
Material & feel
The strap is crafted from full grain Italian calfskin with realistic alligator-grain embossing across the surface. The pattern is finished with a semi-matte sheen that highlights the scale structure without high gloss. Medium-to-heavy padding gives the strap a substantial feel and a rounded profile at the lugs.
The underside is lined with Hirsch Softglove leather, which is hypoallergenic and designed for comfortable contact against the skin. The strap is fitted with a Hirsch-branded polished stainless steel buckle.

Care & wear
Splash resistant, suitable for light moisture such as hand washing or rain.
Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaning products, including leather cleaners. For heavier soiling, the strap may be briefly rinsed under running water. Avoid soaking or prolonged exposure to water. Dry with a soft cotton cloth or allow to air dry at room temperature. If the strap becomes damp from perspiration or heat, gently wipe with a dry, soft cloth.
