Located in Germany's Bavarian Forest, Fluco manufactures 100% in-house at its headquarters in the town of Furth im Wald. Owner Ulrich Fleischmann represents the third generation of his family to lead the company that his grandfather founded more than 70 years ago, producing handmade watch straps of the highest quality for men and women.
Fluco carefully vets every partner they collaborate with. They work only with tanneries that produce ecologically and ethically responsible leather, complying with the strictest regulations to ensure environmental safety and exercising verifiable control from the origin of the raw material to the end product. Fluco's buckles are made entirely in Germany, at a traditional company in Baden Württemberg that tasks itself with producing premium clasps for watch straps.
The Record is one of our most supple straps, adjusting to your wrist with no break-in period required. It's handmade in Germany from fine calfskin leather with a buffalo-grain finish. Somehow this strap manages to feel just refined enough, without veering into "too dressy" territory. The lining leather is water-repellent and hypoallergenic.
Some Record strap sizes are integrated with handy quick-release spring bars. Prefer standard spring bars? Quick-release bars are easy to remove: simply slide the lever as far as you can to the left, then gently bend back the strap corner until the bar emerges from the slot.

Beautiful strap, soft and comfortable. I paired it with a Seiko Cocktail Time.
finally after trying to purchase a "dark" blue watch strap for my Orient Mako USA with dark blue dial. On my third attempt from three different watch strap companies, found one that the color actually matched the picture on the website. Strap was soft and pliable straight out of the package. There was little to no break in wait time. Very comfortable, I mean VERY comfortable. Looks great, an understated grain that doesn't compete with the watch. A little on the thin side so if you must have a thick padded strap this might not be for you, but I think would be fine with a thin dress watch. The buckle has a nice rounded edge where it seats on the leather when in use and after 3 wears has not left a wear mark on the leather. The buckle prong is thin for easy buckling and unbuckling. My only con is the second free sliding little leather keeper is loose fitting and tends to slide back on the strap.
