The Record is one of our most supple straps, adjusting to your wrist with no break-in period required. It's handmade in Germany from fine calfskin leather with a buffalo-grain finish. Somehow this strap manages to feel just refined enough, without veering into "too dressy" territory. The lining leather is water-repellent and hypoallergenic.

Sizing & fit help

This lightly padded leather strap has a little more body than a flat strap, but still wears close to the wrist.

Length & wrist size:

  • Regular: 118mm / 75mm (fits wrists approx. 6.75–7.5in)
  • Short: 105mm / 65mm (fits wrists approx. 6.0–6.75in)

If your wrist sits near the overlap between sizes, either length can work. A shorter strap reduces tail and positions the buckle more tightly, while a longer strap provides more room and tail.

Measurements exclude the buckle.

Care & wear

Splash resistant, suitable for light moisture such as hand washing or rain.

Clean gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use leather cleaners, conditioners, or creams, as they may darken the leather or cause uneven wear in the grain. Avoid prolonged contact with water, perspiration, and direct sunlight. If the strap becomes damp, dry it with a soft cloth and allow it to air dry completely at room temperature.

Founded in 1952, Fluco is a third-generation family-owned strap maker based in Furth im Wald in Germany’s Bavarian Forest. The company produces leather and textile watch straps in-house in Germany, works with carefully selected tanneries, and pairs its straps with German-made buckles. Fluco’s designs tend to favor clean lines and solid materials over decorative flourishes.
