Horween shell cordovan is the main draw here. The equine leather from Chicago's famous tannery has the smooth surface, dense feel, and rich color that make a strap look more substantial without needing a lot of visual extra. On Fluco's padded Horween strap, that leather is paired with a classic shaped profile that suits dress watches, polished cases, and older designs especially well.
Material & feel
This strap is made from vegetable-tanned Horween shell cordovan, a dense equine leather known for its smooth surface, durability, and slow-developing character over time. Compared with softer calfskin, shell cordovan feels firmer and more compact, with a surface that stays relatively smooth as it bends and wears.
Fluco keeps the construction straightforward to let the leather stand on its own. The profile is lightly padded, the edges are painted, sanded, and polished by hand, and the underside is lined in hypoallergenic leather. Authentic Horween lining may show natural tanning marks or part of the tannery stamp.

Care & wear
Splash resistant, suitable for light moisture such as hand washing or rain.
Wipe gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth as needed. Do not use leather creams, conditioners, or cleaning products. Avoid prolonged exposure to water or perspiration. Allow the strap to air dry naturally if it becomes damp. Light surface marks may be gently brushed with a soft cloth once dry.
