I couldn’t find a Max Bill with a dark brown strap, but was so happy to find the Fluco strap I needed here. Not needed at all, but applied a dab of Saphir Renovateur and it’s ready for daily duty. Thanks!
I have a little collection going on of leather, nylon, and metal watch straps that I swap in and out of my watch. This is by far my favorite leather strap I've come across. Big plus that they sell both regular and short sizings.
The leather immediately adapted to my wrist and felt comfortable. Other straps have felt stiff even after I spent some initial time trying to break them in.
I also think the leather has the right level of shine and a classic stitching pattern that my casual to business casual needs, but I'd feel comfortable dressing up with it too. I switch this strap between a dress watch and a field watch. Looks great on both.
It feels durable when I flex and pull at it, but time will tell on long term durability. Shell cordovan leather certainly has a strongly positive reputation in this arena.
High quality strap, I'll be back for a spare at some point - thank you.
The horween was very soft and feels great on the wrist. The slightly glossy black adds a pop versus the usual matte black straps. I have a Nomos one and this is the same look and quality. I highly recommend this short strap.
Solid build, thick stitching on top (I don't like it that much, I like more "flushed designs"), thin metal buckle and VERY shiny (not a fan either).
