Dive watches often call for a strap that keeps the tool character of the watch without the weight of a metal bracelet. The Artem Classic answers that need with a sailcloth-style texture and a clean, tapered shape that reduces bulk toward the buckle. The Classic takes cues from the sailcloth straps long associated with Blancpain Fifty Fathoms dive watches, giving modern divers and sport watches a familiar, functional look.
Material & feel
The upper features an embossed sailcloth pattern that creates a durable textured surface. Moderate padding provides structure while remaining flexible enough for daily wear. The underside is leather backed with a layer of natural caoutchouc rubber, which improves water resistance and helps the strap tolerate humid or wet conditions.
Hardware includes an Artem-designed 316L stainless steel tang buckle finished with a brushed center section and polished outer edges.

Artem Classic straps are designed with a firm, structured feel that softens slightly with wear. The construction gives the strap a stable presence on the wrist, particularly on sport and tool watches.
Length & wrist size:
- Regular: 115mm / 75mm (fits wrists approx. 6.5–7.25in)
- Short: 105mm / 66mm (fits wrists approx. 6.0–6.75in)
If your wrist sits near the overlap between sizes, either length can work. A shorter strap reduces tail and positions the buckle more tightly, while a longer strap provides more room and tail.
Measurements exclude the buckle.

Care & wear
Water resistant, suitable for brief exposure but not intended for swimming or prolonged contact with water.
Rinse with lukewarm water and gently wipe with a soft cloth. Do not use soaps, chemicals, or cleaning agents, as they may damage the surface and accelerate wear. Allow the strap to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.
