Headquartered in Klagenfurt, Austria, Hirsch was established in 1765 as a leather workshop and tannery. It remains a family-owned business to this day, and continues to gain recognition for excellence and innovation in watch strap design.

Constructed from full grain, natural barrel-dyed calfskin leather, Hirsch's robust Ranger strap will acquire a beautiful patina with time and wear. In addition to accentuated contrast stitching at lugs and tip, this strap features oval sizing holes that contribute to the retro style. Ranger is untapered (the same width from end to end). Hirsch's proprietary Softglove lining leather is hypoallergenic and gentle on the skin.

All of our Hirsch straps are integrated with handy quick-release spring bars. Prefer standard spring bars? Quick-release bars are easy to remove: simply slide the lever as far as you can to the left, then gently bend back the strap corner until the bar emerges from the slot.

Great strap

Very pleased with how this retro hunter style strap matches my Raven, Airfield. I was looking for a racier type of look for the watch and this Hirsch Ranger pulls that look off effortlessly. I paired the strap with a Flaco butterfly deployant clasp and am very pleased with the overall quality of both products. Also, the customer service I received from Holben’s was excellent. Good Versatile Strap for my Hamilton Field

Good quality and basic strap for my Hamilton Field 42mm watch. Its relatively unassuming to wear casually daily with jeans, etc., but the black leather is good to wear with dress shirts and suit when needed. Ordering and delivery was fast and efficient. Strap is a bit short as I have 19cm wrist and am on the 2nd notch on the strap, but if you have smaller wrists you will have lots of room left on the strap. Quick release is nice, as I may switch back, now and then, to the metal bracelet that came with the watch.

Great looking and well made strap

The strap that came with my Hemel chronograph was a bit too short, too thick and a little too light in color for my taste. Found this Hirsch strap on HFWB and thought it would fit perfectly. I was right! I love the look of it. Feels very high quality. Great looking hardware. My only critique would be the quick release spring bars. No matter how I tried to position them the little nub was always visible and kind of annoyed me. Not a big deal I just removed them and replaced them with standard spring bars. This is truly a five star strap for me.

Very happy with purchase

Apologies for the dirty watch in the pictures, but really happy with strap. Great rich color and texture. Added bonus the strap has the quick release spring bars. Think the strap will weather nicely has it will mark so keep that in mind.

Love it

I have always Love the quality of Hirsch straps. But most importantly it’s the fit and with the addition of the quick release spring bars it’s a no-brainer highly recommended. And as always Holbens are the best.
