Headquartered in Klagenfurt, Austria, Hirsch was established in 1765 as a leather workshop and tannery. It remains a family-owned business to this day, and continues to win awards for excellence and innovation in watch strap design.
An ideal bracelet for sports and diving watches, the Hirsch Nyad is constructed of premium, thick, natural caoutchouc rubber with a soft, elastic feel. Nyad is completely waterproof, dimensionally stable, tear-proof, and resistant to external influences such as UV light and chemicals. Suitable for those with sensitive skin, it is moisture-regulating and dries quickly thanks to its grooved underside and perforations.
All of our Hirsch straps are integrated with handy quick-release spring bars. Prefer standard spring bars? Quick-release bars are easy to remove: simply slide the lever as far as you can to the left, then gently bend back the strap corner until the bar emerges from the slot.

Very comfortable strap, lightweight, well ventilated. The M size is perfect for my smaller wrist where standard straps tend to be too long. The white looks great against the white sub-dials and outer ring on my Hamilton intramatic. Very happy with this purchase!
I imagine it was named after the woman who swam from Cuba to Florida recently. It is thin and light. Made of pure rubber so no toxin leaks, microplastics etc like found in some elastopolymor (FKM) popular straps. The most comfortable hot weather band I have ever worn. Plenty of holes for air circulation. Yes it ain’t cheap but I live by. “But quality, cry once”. I love it and Hirsch did a great job
