Located in Germany's Bavarian Forest, Fluco manufactures 100% in-house at its headquarters in the town of Furth im Wald. Owner Ulrich Fleischmann represents the third generation of his family to lead the company that his grandfather founded more than 70 years ago, producing handmade watch straps of the highest quality for men and women.

Fluco carefully vets every partner they collaborate with. They work only with tanneries that produce ecologically and ethically responsible leather, complying with the strictest regulations to ensure environmental safety and exercising verifiable control from the origin of the raw material to the end product. Fluco's buckles are made entirely in Germany, at a traditional company in Baden Württemberg that tasks itself with producing premium clasps for watch straps.

Fluco describes its Nizza strap as "cuddly," and we couldn't agree more. Handmade in Germany using calf leather from a German tannery, it is one of our softest, most comfortable straps, conforming to the wrist with ease. The open-pored characteristic of the leather enables high breathability and moisture regulation. The Nizza is extremely slim and supple (requiring virtually no break-in time), but retains excellent dimensional stability; durability is not a concern with this strap. Tone-on-tone stitching seams are double-stitched at the lug and buckle ends. The edges of each strap are painted, sanded and polished several times by hand. The leather lining is water resistant and hypoallergenic.

Some Nizza strap sizes are integrated with handy quick-release spring bars. Prefer standard spring bars? Quick-release bars are easy to remove: simply slide the lever as far as you can to the left, then gently bend back the strap corner until the bar emerges from the slot.

Holben's accepts returns of unworn, undamaged watch straps or accessories for refund or exchange within thirty days of purchase. (To ensure that items remain in original condition, please confirm suitability before fastening to your watch or wrist.)

All product packaging (bags, tags, cases, etc.) must be unaltered and returned with each item. Items without original packaging will be refused. Items that have been worn, resized, damaged or otherwise modified (including exposure to cologne, tobacco smoke, household air fresheners or other odors) will not be accepted.

Orders must be packed in a padded envelope or small box, and shipped via USPS with delivery confirmation. (Couriers such as DHL and UPS will not deliver to PO boxes.)

Super nice suede watch strap

Bought this Fluco Nizza suede watch strap in dark brown for my vintage 1940s gold and diamond Longines tank watch. Super pleased with how it compliments my watch! Excellent construction, materials and look. Elegant alternative to a smooth leather band. Definitely recommend!

Good quality and excellent value

As the title says, this strap is great quality and the price is right in a sea of similar straps going for twice as much.

Classy, subtle, and comfortable strap

This is the third one of these Fluco suede leather straps I've purchased from Holben's; I have one on a Seiko railroad watch, and another on an Omega Seamaster quartz. This time it went on this quartz Seiko eBay find. No break-in needed, very comfortable, and couldn't have matched the color more perfectly. Definitely recommended, an easy way to class up any watch.

Best suede straps!

I have been a huge fan of Fluco straps. Now that they offer short lengths for my small wrist they are simply the best!

Nice color and construction

I was looking for a slim, suede strap in a dark grey to compliment colors on a watch and this did not disappoint. Very flexible and comfortable.

Fluco suede moss colored 18mm short strap

In my opinion, Fluco of Germany makes the very best suede watch straps in the business. They also have somewhat custom lengths, regular, short and long. I find the short to be perfect for my small wrist size. The color choice is larger as well. I have been using Fluco for many years and will continue to do so.

A great option in suede

Pros: excellent color and construction, relatively thin and comfortable, nice taper for vintage or vintage styled watches, affordable vs. many comparable brands.

Cons: Requires a Springbar tool—no quick change option.

TLDR: best strap for money out there, and the best place to buy it.

I’m not one to usually write reviews unless truly impressed, or sorely dissatisfied. Happily, with regards to Holbens and Fluco, it’s all positive. From customer service response, to speed of shipping, to the quality of the product, you won’t be disappointed. I bought the short dark brown suede strap for my Seiko SRPE61 (dressKX). I love this option for autumn and winter. It really pulls out the brown tones of the anthracite dial. What’s more, it’s less than half the price of other equivalent quality straps and is made in Germany! 10/10 would recommend Holbens and Fluco.
