This mesh bracelet is well-made, but… it’s very difficult to do the math, and figure out whether the range of adjustment will actually fit you correctly, based on how Staib explains/describes this.
My wrist is about 7 inches, or 17.8 cm, in circumference, and the watch I wanted to put the bracelet on was about 46 mm from lug to lug. I was under the impression that the bracelet would fit me, based partly on the reviews of others with 7 inch wrists, but the bottom line is that it doesn’t. It’s too large to wear comfortably, even adjusted to smallest possible setting. It’s very disappointing to buy a $200 bracelet, and discover that it’s simply not adjustable enough/ not going to work. Hopefully, this won’t be you.
Fast delivery, and nice packaging. Excellent clasp. Fit and finish is first rate. Very comfortable, and adjustment range is nearly an inch. Thicker than expected, but when on the wrist lays nice and flat. The finish is very shiny, but not too noticeable. Clasp scratched easy, but that is to be expected on a polished SS. Overall, best strap I have had on this Tiffany diver. I did have to file it down 1 mm. Watch has a 19mm lug... highly recommended, both Staib and Holbens. This was my second strap from Holbens.
I bought this band for my 1971 Bulova Chronometer, and it did not disappoint. It is beautiful and the workmanship is second to none. This is a heavy-duty stainless-steel band that is gorgeous. Mike was quick to respond to my questions and shipping was equally as efficient. Thank yoy.
