Located in Germany's Bavarian Forest, Fluco manufactures 100% in-house at its headquarters in the town of Furth im Wald. Owner Ulrich Fleischmann represents the third generation of his family to lead the company that his grandfather founded more than 70 years ago, producing handmade watch straps of the highest quality for men and women.
Fluco carefully vets every partner they collaborate with. When sourcing strap material they work only with companies that produce ecologically and ethically responsible goods, complying with the strictest regulations to ensure environmental safety and exercising verifiable control from the origin of the raw material to the end product. Fluco's buckles are made entirely in Germany, at a traditional company in Baden Württemberg that tasks itself with producing premium clasps for watch straps.
Fluco's retro Tropical strap is handmade in Germany from genuine fluoroelastomer (FKM) rubber, the highest quality performance rubber in the world. This durable strap can withstand high temperatures, UV rays and chemicals, while remaining soft, supple and comfortable on the wrist. It's also waterproof (and perfect for sports!).
The top of the Tropical features a distinctive crosshatch pattern with fully perforated pinholes; the diamond-pattern waffled underside has channels for optimum breathability. FKM rubber is easy to clean: scrub gently with a soft brush in soapy water, then rinse and wipe dry with a towel or cloth.
Fluco's Tropical straps are integrated with handy quick-release spring bars. Prefer standard spring bars? Quick-release bars are easy to remove: simply slide the lever as far as you can to the left, then gently bend back the strap corner until the bar emerges from the slot.
Bought this as a more budget friendly alternative to a “real” tropic strap. Overall amazing quality and excellent value. Looks great on my seamaster.
High quality, very comfortable, lots of sizing options. Fine texture to its edges and band.
Holbensfinewatchbands came through again. I needed a strap to replace my fabric one which came on my Islander/TGV collaboration the Rangemaster mechanical. Fluco makes a great rubber strap at a great price. Many thanks to Holbens for carrying the line. Fast fullfillment. They are my go to as straps are most essential to watch enjoyment! I hope to do business with for many years to come and highly recommend.
Awesome strap for a fair price. Fast shipping. Very happy!! Will be doing business with again, and will recommend.
I purchased this because I have a few 20mm lug width watches it goes with. It's a quality strap with a vintage vibe. And it comes with Holben's service. A great combination!
This is the real deal - perforations that go all the way through and underside waffle pattern combine for a rubber strap with ventilation that really works. Sturdy without being stiff and flexible but not flimsy, so it’s very comfortable. Cleans up quickly and easily after a day on the water or working in the yard. Great all-around strap that I would definitely buy again.
I love this band. The feel is much softer than regular rubber straps as well as much more flexible.
While the photo might suggest a warm gray color, the true tone for the "Mouse Gray" variant is on the colder (blue) side instead. For my intended purpose it was perfect, but keep it in lind in case you intend to pair it with a warmer dial.
Great quality and silky smooth. Easy to take on and off with the quick release spring bars
The quality of the rubber material might be great but it looks awful with my Seiko Turtle.
This band is very bland (generic) looking and basically has no personality..if that makes sense for a watch band.
