Located in Germany's Bavarian Forest, Fluco manufactures 100% in-house at its headquarters in the town of Furth im Wald. Owner Ulrich Fleischmann represents the third generation of his family to lead the company that his grandfather founded more than 70 years ago, producing handmade watch straps of the highest quality for men and women.
Fluco carefully vets every partner they collaborate with. They work only with tanneries that produce ecologically and ethically responsible leather, complying with the strictest regulations to ensure environmental safety and exercising verifiable control from the origin of the raw material to the end product. Fluco's buckles are made entirely in Germany, at a traditional company in Baden Württemberg that tasks itself with producing premium clasps for watch straps.
The Snow Calf is made by hand in Germany from fine calfskin leather. This is a thicker strap, but feels surprisingly supple on the wrist. The bar tacks at the clasp are double-stitched with contrasting white thread. The lining leather is water-repellent and hypoallergenic.
I'm very satisfied with the Fluco Snow Calf Tan Leather 22m that I recently ordered for my Orient. Quick shipping and a nice note from the owner. It can be hard to know what color to expect with tan leather, so I am sharing some photos, one of which contrasts it with a chocolate brown leather belt, a weave mid-brown belt, and a bamboo spoon. This array of brown tones will give an accurate expectation. The photo against my jeans outdoors is very color-accurate. It is still very comfortable, looks very well made, and will pair best anywhere from jeans to chinos. Thanks Holben's!
I have reviewed these snow calf bands before but I can’t say enough good things about them other than don’t hesitate to purchase one…! Have a lot of different bands from different manufacturers but this line by Fluco is one of my favorites if not my favorite period… Great looking, soft pliable, comfortable and good looking…! And this is the place to purchase one, right here at Holben’s… Best watch strap place on the net and they are shipped like “greased lightning”..! Here’s a brown one on my Ball Fireman and a combo photo of a black one on a Hamilton KK… Highly recommend these bands and Holben’s…!
I love these Fluco snow calf bands and have them in all colors, actually more than one of the brown and tan… Great looking supple watch band with a highly polished, solid buckle…! 5 STARS and that goes for Holben’s too..! Thee place for watch bands…!
Very nice band, solid, substantial, smooth leather, nice polished buckle … It’s all good…!
Quality band and I would recommend it…! I have a couple of the same model by Fluco in different colors and I really like the quality and look of the snow calf leather… Can’t beat Holbens because they only sell quality bands…!
I like the look and feel of this black Fluco strap on my Hamilton Field Auto. It's a nice alternative to the metal bracelet it came with.
I wanted to replace the old strap on one of my Hamilton’s with the same style but in black instead of brown. As usual, Holben’s had the perfect solution with the Fluco Snow Calf - even the original ‘wide-tang’ Hamilton buckle worked with the Fluco! The Snow Calf is slightly thicker and more supple than the original, in case you’re considering it for a Hamilton Khaki replacement. I’m never disappointed with Fluco’s quality and all of mine (probably a dozen or so over the last few years) have come from Holben’s, always great service and value!!
Very nice quality for this watch strap. I think it is well worth the price. I've had for about 3 months now. Very complimentary to my Casio.
Excellent strap, thick and very well finished.
