Using Your Forstner Klip Watch Bracelet

The Forstner Klip employs a beautiful ladder design and clasp that allows you to adjust the bracelet in micro-increments for the perfect fit. Even better, it has a simple and intuitive interface that should take minimal (if any) practice to perfect. The instructions below will help you hit the ground running with your new Klip.

Putting on the Bracelet

First, with your watch on your wrist, pull on the clasp end of the bracelet to tighten to your desired fit. Once there, a "keeper" portion on the non-clasp end of the bracelet will lock the fit in place, making sure the bracelet does not loosen as you finish putting the bracelet on.

Second, secure the clasp to one of the open slots in the bracelet. The Klip clasp will be familiar to many, with its spring-loaded/push button system. Once you've found the correct fit for your wrist, secure the clasp to one of the open slots by compressing the buttons visible on the clasp sides. It clips in easily:

Removing the Bracelet

Unhook the clasp by pushing the buttons visible on the sides of the clasp. The keeper on the non-clasp end of the bracelet will retain your correct fit -- ensuring, for example, that the bracelet does not fall off accidentally. To unlock the fit, let the clasp end of the bracelet hang loose while you extend the keeper from where it's locked in:

The video below shows the entire motion in action -- both clasping on and taking off the bracelet.
