Headquartered in Klagenfurt, Austria, Hirsch was established in 1765 as a leather workshop and tannery. It remains a family-owned business to this day, and continues to gain recognition for excellence and innovation in watch strap design. Hirsch's popular Performance collection of classic leather and vegan materials combined with premium caoutchouc rubber is a multiple award winner.

The Paul Performance strap features an alligator grain-embossed fine Italian calfskin leather upper, treated with a special scratch-resistant finish to protect against abrasion. The premium, thick caoutchouc natural rubber lining is hypoallergenic and resistant to external influences such as UV light and chemicals, and its superior groove structure ensures constant ventilation on the wrist. Paul is water resistant to 300m, so it can be worn for swimming and even diving.

All of our Hirsch straps are integrated with handy quick-release spring bars. Prefer standard spring bars? Quick-release bars are easy to remove: simply slide the lever as far as you can to the left, then gently bend back the strap corner until the bar emerges from the slot.

Perfect strap to dress up a Sinn to watch

Strap for a Sinn 556 i Pearl W. Black-colored strap contrasts nicely with the watches’s white face and silver inlay. Strap’s rubber lining makes it wearable in the summer months, when one usually swaps out straps for bracelets. Alligator pattern is quite nice as well. Look is completed with a deployant clasp also purchased at Holben’s.

Performance and Aesthetics Combined

The leather has a matte finish. You cannot really tell where the leather ends and rubber begins, which is great. This strap is substantial, and I feel like I got my money’s worth. The extra long truly is extra long, allowing for plenty of extra room on the strap.
