Forstner's expandable Komfit JB (JB Champion) stainless steel mesh watch bracelet was one of the only bands sanctioned by NASA for use on manned space missions. It was worn by astronauts throughout the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs, and even made it to the surface of the moon.
Now, after a long hiatus (during which only high-priced vintage models could be sourced), Forstner has improved and reissued this classic. The wide version of the Komfit has all the features that popularized the bracelet with NASA, and is identical to the original -- with the width increased to more contemporary proportions.
18mm-wide square-patterned central mesh section.
Beautifully designed curved end pieces with horned ends.
Spring-loaded ends fit 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, 21mm and 22mm watch lugs.
Easily adjustable in micro-increments for the perfect fit.
Offered in two lengths: Original and Regular.
Original: once worn by astronauts over their space suits; equivalent to a "long" length. Fits wrists 7" - 10".
Regular: fits small to medium wrists (5-3/4" - 7").
For 7" wrists either length will work, but the Original may provide the best look.
