With the Bonklip-style Klip watch bracelet, Forstner brings back one of the most popular bands in its historic catalog. In the 1940s, the company created a series of ladder-design stainless steel bracelets with many of the same features that popularized the Komfit among NASA astronauts. The bands were adjustable in increments of approximately 3mm, fit a wide variety of wrist sizes and, of course, were extremely comfortable. They were often included with military-supplied watches having fixed lugs (for example, the English-made Bonklip was supplied with the IWC Mark XI). Forstner later created an improved version, with a spring-loaded clasp that made the wearing experience more intuitive yet still secure. This feature is included on the current reissue.

  • Made entirely of stainless steel.
  • Light, breathable and comfortable.
  • Adjustable (in approximately 3mm increments) from 115mm - 230mm.

Q: Do you sell watch bands for women?
A: We do! Many of our short-length straps are the perfect size for women.

Q: Can you suggest a strap that looks amazing with my watch?
A: Unfortunately, because the range is so vast (and personal taste is subjective), we cannot advise regarding aesthetic suitability for specific models and styles of watches.

Q: I have an Apple watch. Will any of your straps work for me?
A: Sure! Our handy Apple watch band adapters accommodate most 22mm straps.

Q: Are spring bars available?
A: Yes, for each strap that is not already integrated with quick-release spring bars, we include one free pair of strong, seamless double-flange stainless steel bars.

Q: What strap size do I need?
A: To determine your size, use a metric ruler to measure the internal distance (in millimeters) between the lugs of your watch.

Q: My Bonetto Cinturini deployant strap is too long. Can you help?
A: Of course! See our Bonetto Cinturini sizing guide for cutting instructions.

Q: Do you offer international shipping?
A: Yes! Visit our Shipping & Returns page for more information.

Q: May I return my purchase?
A: Holben's Fine Watch Bands accepts returns of unworn, undamaged merchandise for refund or exchange within thirty days of purchase. Learn more on our Shipping & Returns page.

Need help with sizing?

Period Correct and Comfortable!

I have had this bracelet for a couple weeks and have had it on a 5 digit Submariner, a re-release of the 1968 Seiko 5 (pictured) and my favorite fixed bar CWC 1983 Royal Navy Divers reissue. Some have stated the bracelet is flimsy. I think it is functional and period correct. I love my old Seiko and Rolex bracelets for the same reasons some complain about them - they are light weight and they rattle when not on the wrist, and because of that they are VERY comfortable. It is the same with this bracelet. Very comfortable, easily adjusted and I haven't broken it yet so for me that means it is good quality and even at this price, good value. If you want period correct design and comfort then this is it, and good luck finding one for less than here at Holbens!!! Thank you Holbens!

Klip on Stefanny Blue

Once I placed my preorder for the Studio Underd0g 02Series Field Stefanny, the search for the perfect strap / bracelet to pair with it was on. Naturally, I looked to Forstner to meet the challenge. There is no doubt that the 02Series Field oozes 1940s WW2 aesthetics. I was hopeful that Forstner’s Bonklip offering, the Klip, would fit the bill. Spolier alert, it certainly did!

I placed the order and it conveniently arrived one week before I even the watch arrived. I was anxious annd I scrambled for another watch I already owned that has an 18mm lug width. Though I do not have any pictures of it, the Klip pairs very well with the Timex Q GMT. But once the 02Series Field arrived, I was blown away by the result of when I finally slapped the bracelet on. I cannot praise the comfort of the bracelet, and the combination makes me wonder why Richard of Studio Underd0g never offered a Bonklip bracelet option at the watch’s release.

Sometimes, discovering a watch and aftermarket strap / bracelet pairing on your own is more special. This was certainly one of those cases. Now, I’m looking at the Komfit and Ladder bracelet models to inject some more of that neo-vintage flavor in my watchbox.

Dissapointing quality, strap feels thin

Was disappointed in the feel of this strap. It felt very thin and cheap, akin to paper clips strung together. Do notice that the "links" are thin metal wrapped around a pin and not solid/dense links.
