Quality suede!

The cognac color is less orange in person compared to the picture. Still a nice warm tan color. It is *almost* too thick for my thin vintage Glashutte, but ultimately feels just right. Quality suede and great construction. Wears a bit long - I'm on the second to last hole with my 7 inch wrist.

Great first strap from fluco

This is the first leather/suede strap I’ve spent this amount on. I’ve stuck with cheap leather straps up until now just to try out different colors and styles, but wanted to move up to something of better quality. This strap has not disappointed. It’s soft and flexible but doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall apart any time soon. I paired it with my white HMT Janata and I think the match looks great. Like other reviews have mentioned, the anthracite color is maybe a little darker in person than in the photos, but I still love it. I intend to look into holbens and fluco for my next leather and suede straps. As a reference, I have a 6.5 wrist where I wear my watches, the Janata has an approx. 43mm lug to lug and with the short strap version I’m still wearing it on the shortest hole. Not necessarily a con, just something to be aware of for the small-twisted folk. One of my photos is in more of a yellow lighting, fyi.

Another classic fluco strap

The rust color is great for a vintage vibe. Super comfortable right out of the box. Suede for the win.

Great strap. Super comfortable. Looks great on my vintage Longines.

Anthracite, short review

The strap looks great, although darker than the pictures suggest (in certain lights).

The strap wears thicker than the 2.5mm thickness suggests because the edges don’t taper, like a lot of straps. There is a minor breaking in period as it starts a little stiff.

I have a 6.5 - 6.75 inch wrist and I ordered the short strap. Hopefully the picture shows that I amputated the superfluous, floating second keeper, improving the comfort and appearance. I scratched the fixed keeper cutting off the tag. The short strap is quite short. If you have 6.75 inch wrist and up then I highly recommend purchasing the standard.

Overall I’m quite happy with my purchase. I’ve purchased a few straps for my Hammy and this is overwhelmingly my favourite. Not as stark and dressy as black leather but rather versatile while classy. Good stuff.
