I've bought several DeBeer straps for my vintage watch collection. This one works great with my early '60s Elgin "Thin-Thin" watch, a watch with an automatic movement that is only 8.8mm thick, so it needs a thin, but sturdy, strap.
I purchased the DeBeer Lizard-Grain Havana leather watch strap for my 1948 Gruen Veri-Thin watch. It looks like a perfect match in both size and quality. I couldn't be more pleased. I recommend Holben's as a place to shop for strap replacement. The shipment was fast and the owner, Mike, was quick to answer my questions via email.
I purchased the DeBeer Lizard-Grain Blue Leather Watch Strap for a small Shinola Muldowney. I found this band to be a very good value. The lizard pattern looks nice, the blue is rich and the band in general seems well made. I have only had the band for a few weeks and have worn the watch about a dozen times but I am quite happy with it.
I bought this lovely little red lizard band for a mid 60s Waltham that I had with a very ordinary black band and a red second hand. I realized I had too many old watches on black straps! So I was looking to make some color pop. I did! What a deal.
I bought this for a 1954 Elgin watch I recently acquired. The lizard grain looks elegant and befitting for such a nice, gold watch. This isn't the first Debeer watchband I've bought from Holbens. The quality is excellent, especially for the price. The availability of odd sizes (this one is 17mm) is especially great for vintage watches. I won't hesitate to buy more.
