The Marine Nationale watch strap was invented in the late 1960s or early 1970s by French naval divers for use with their military-issued TUDOR MN watches. Using flexible woven elastic and hardware from parachuting equipment, they customized a sturdy band that could stretch to fit a wetsuit sleeve, as well as withstand the rigors of chronic salt water exposure and other realities of maritime military life.
Honed and perfected as a result of eighteen months of research and development, Erika's Originals' patented MN strap is virtually identical to the vintage French model, in a range of colors and widths to suit your personal version of the life aquatic.
